chili red arowana New catch - Dovii boy
Hi allJust to share, procured a new buddy recently.
Its currently in a quarantine tank and surprisingly, noticed its quite docile for a dovii (reputed to be crazy).
Am contemplating should I integrate it into my comm tank, CA - sym/bifa/blackbelt/cuban/jag/jd. Only worried there will be a massacre.

However seems very shy and does not portray any "aggressive" features thats why contemplating should I try to comm it... not very keen to wake up to fish parts lol. and i read that Jags and them are like sworn enemies, which I currently have 1 about the same size in the comm tank.
>You may let it settles down in its new environment first. Once stable, you can put a strong divider in your comm tank and sees its "real" personality; aggressive or friendly

It ultimately depends on your comm actually, overcrowding will disperse aggression although there is still a slight risk you may lose fishes due to bullying but by doing so, it will take a toll on your filtration as these bigger cichlids produce alot of waste.
